CITRON was created in 1992 in Santa Monica, California, the brainchild of Ricki Wolman. Ricki was born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa, where his initial experience in retail and manufacturing was acquired. Ricki has spent the ensuing years travelling throughout the world, studying and gathering elements and techniques that form the basis of his unique design aesthetics. The influence of many different cultures, as well as past and present eras is Ricki's inspiration for the original textiles that distinguish every Citron creation.
